I'm upgrading my SSD config on my main rig I originally had one Samsung 840 250GB drive and i'm adding another. HERE

I cloned the 250GB SSD with my OS to another 250GB HDD I had laying around, then I added the second 250GB SSD to make Raid 0.. The OS is Windows 8 1 with an i7-4770k on an Asus Z87-K I usually use Paragon Migrate OS to SSD (you can use it with anything, not just SSDs) and I've never had a problem with it.. After doing some quick reading it is apparently possible, but I was wondering what the best tools are to do it?I usually just use Clonezilla, but apparently Acronis can do it. Click

Jan 7, 2012 - If your going from RAID 0, then you will be restoring to a drive half the size.. I usually use Paragon Migrate OS to SSD (you can use it with anything, not just SSDs) and I've never had a problem with it.. 1 I needed a fresh Windows install anyway I'm upgrading my SSD config on my main rig.. I was stupid and didn't think about whether I could clone the single 250GB HDD to the SSD Raid 0 array.. Due to the same problem with drivers for all windows versions XP and up I believe if it were software RAID, Acronis cannot clone it since it needs. 773a7aa168 Click

It worked fine until it needed to reboot in order to start the cloning I just ended up re-installing Windows 8. 5
